BUT ENOUGH ABOUT ME, WHAT DO I THINK ABOUT ME?

Pro tip: When pushing flattering content about yourself to a press outlet willing to print it verbatim as an actual “story,” try to be more subtle than ol’ John Barron here.

About that: The “MAGA list” in question was produced by the White House itself. The Washington Examiner was given “exclusive” access to this press release, and printed it up in flattering fashion, upon which Biff here tweets out that their flattering print-up is “True!” because he says so and honestly if Biff wanted to pay for an advertisement that would be one thing, but the Examiner giving it away for free is a bit much.

There are people in the world who are actually fooled by this nonsense, which is why most reputable news outlets try to avoid it, or at least avoid doing it so … boldly. But even hard-conservative outlets have been a bit hard up for Trump-fluffing stories of late, so having the White House draft those stories up themselves was a development we could have seen coming.
